African American Small Consulting Business Sustaining Strategies

More than 80% of small consulting businesses fail within the first 5 years operation. Small company owners are concerned about failing five because they lack innovative strategies. Grounded in resource-based view theory, this qualitative multiple case study aimed to explore strategies African American use for longevity beyond years. The participants comprised three located northeast region United States who successfully sustained their business Data collection included semistructured interviews with and reviewing documents. A key recommendation includes conducting feasibility screening designing using a strategy canvas identify opportunities.
